Oliver
At the age of four, Oliver lost both of his parents in a car accident. Oliver was adopted by a family member who realized quickly that they would need to purchase a bigger home. With help from GiveAFlip, Oliver's new family was able to purchase a home with $0 down and begin the path to home ownership sooner than they thought was possible. Oliver is active in sports and doing well in school. His parents believe that GiveAFlip made it possible for them to afford a home in an area that provided him the best opportunities for his future.

Daniella
As the sixth of nine children, Daniella’s parents did not have funds to make a down payment on a home that would be big enough for their family to enjoy. Through the funds we raised, GiveAFlip was able to purchase and renovate a 5 bedroom home that created an opportunity for Daniella's family to see their dream of home ownership come to reality. After 5 years of building equity through rent, they were able to use their equity payments as a downpayment for their dream home - a 6-bedroom home closer to family. GiveAFlip was able to renovate this same house and use it to provide the same opportunity for another family just like Daniella's!

Raising a non-communicative child with autism can be incredibly difficult without help. GiveAFlip was able to provide Sophia's family with a pathway to home ownership that allowed them to strengthen their financial position and build equity for 3 years. They were able to qualify for a loan and purchase their home with the help of our donors and partners .
